Hi, I’m Caitlin!

I am a nutritionist who cares about how you feel in your body — not just how it looks. My mission is to help you optimize your nutrition for long-term health & performance, build a positive body image, and foster self-confidence.

A bit about me and my expertise:

  • Master of Science in Human Nutrition & Functional Medicine University of Western States | Portland, OR

  • Bachelor of Science in Conservation Biology & Ecology Arizona State University | Tempe, AZ

  • To further my expertise in the field of nutrition, I completed 1,000 supervised clinical hours and a rigorous certification exam required to obtain my Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS®) credential.

  • I’m also a technical writer for nutrition businesses and companies!

  • To maintain my credentials, I am required to complete 75 CEUs every 5 years, which keeps me up-to-date on current research in the field of nutrition.

You may not know this about me…

There are days when I feel off track or fall into old habits—but that’s part of the journey.

But this acceptance didn’t happen overnight. Growing up as a pre-professional ballerina, I developed a relentless drive for perfection—a mindset that seeped into my body image and eating habits. That pursuit of “perfect” led me down a tough road, battling an eating disorder, amenorrhea, chronic injuries, IBS, depression, and overwhelming self-doubt.

Even though I cared deeply about my health, I felt trapped in a cycle of restrictive “clean” eating that left me physically and emotionally depleted.

Everything changed when I began learning about nutrition. Understanding how food could nourish my body—not control it—helped me break free from old beliefs and start truly healing. The good news? You don’t need to go to school to experience this kind of freedom and self-love. I’m here to guide you toward a healthier, happier relationship with food and your body, one step at a time.

It’s not about being perfect; it’s about finding what works, giving yourself grace, and striving for a balance that feels good—not just in your schedule but in your mind and body, too.

How I got here…

After years of feeling chronically tired, unhappy with my body, and worried about my body changing if I started to eat for my health, I decided to fulfill my lifelong dream of becoming a nutritionist to finally understand how to feed my body from a place of appreciation instead of hate.

Even though my nutrition education was a step toward a new career, it also was my opportunity to heal the wounds of the past. Learning the “why” behind the “what” gave me the ability to fully grasp how important it is to nourish the body I have. Instead of restricting calories, needlessly cutting out foods (typically ones I love), or feeling ashamed for eating a second serving of cake, I feel gratitude for my body, and I want to feed it with love — not hate.

My Food Philosophy

Rooted in joy — meeting your body with compassion and abundance versus rigidness and restriction.

As someone who’s walked this path myself, I understand the frustration of feeling unheard, unseen, or unsupported. I’ve faced my own struggles with body image, hormonal imbalances, and nutrition confusion, and I’ve learned that healing requires not just knowledge but also connection and compassion.

Who I Help

I help recreational athletes—especially those with perfectionist tendencies—ditch the stress around food so they can fuel their bodies with confidence.

A lot of active people struggle with overanalyzing every meal, fearing weight changes, or feeling like they have to eat ‘perfectly’ to perform well. I take a science-backed but flexible approach to nutrition, helping people eat in a way that supports both their training and their mental well-being. Whether through courses or coaching, my goal is to make nutrition simple, sustainable, and stress-free.
